The substitute or country coffee is made from rye, barley and barley malt from Germany and chicory from France and gets its powerful taste from a special refining process. Chicory, also known as common chicory, is a plant that has been used as a medicinal plant since the Middle Ages. Root chicory has been used to make a coffee substitute since the 18th century. Chicory is a cultivated form of chicory, including chicory and radicchio.
The preparation is very simple:
Add 2 heaped teaspoons of Caro Extra Strong to a small cup (120 ml) of hot water, stir, and you're done. The glass content is enough for 50 cups.

Caro Extra is far superior to ordinary Caro, but is not readily available in the UK. It's a splendid alternative to coffee, being caffeine-free. We are fortunate that LDS is willing to import this excellent product for its customers.
