Katie, Matthew, and Peter are searching for the perfect Christmas present for Grandma. But when the children are swept away into a painting of ancient Bethlehem, they learn of generosity and sacrifice from Mary, Joseph, and the shepherds tending flocks in the field. And when they meet the newborn Messiah, the siblings learn that Heavenly Father gave the world the greatest gift of all when He gave His own Son.

BOOK 5

Katie, Matthew, and Peter have traveled to Jerusalem through Grandma's paintings before, but this time they find themselves in a story from the Book of Mormon. The children watch as the sons of Lehi seek the records of their forefathers from their wicked relative, Laban. Will Nephi and his brothers ever get the records they seek? The children discover important lessons about record keeping, faith, and obedience in this latest adventure

BOOK 6

Katie wants to share the gospel with a friend, but has questions about how to do so. After stepping through Grandma's new painting, the children find themselves near the stables of King Lamoni, the Lamanite ruler. The children learn that loving service is the best form of missionary work.

BOOK 7

In this fast-paced adventure, the children travel back to Zarahemla five years before the birth of Christ and hear the testimony of two Lamanite children. After narrowly escaping a frightening raid by the Gadianton robbers, and then witnessing the preaching of Samuel the Lamanite, the children return to Grandma's cottage, only to step through the painting once more to witness the miracle of the night that stayed bright as day.

BOOK 8

When Grandma illustrates the exciting story of Queen Esther from the Old Testament, the splendor of Persia unfolds before the children's eyes. Katie, Matthew, and Peter learn of courage and inner strength from the beautiful queen who, at the risk of her own life, makes the decision to stand up for her people and what is right.

BOOK 9

The children are whisked away to ancient Palestine where the huge Philistine warrior, Goliath, has challenged the Israelites. It is when the young David bravely faces Goliath that the children learn: If you put your faith in God, anything is possible.
